"Darren has worked in our school for 5 years as a teacher of Brass and Woodwind. He has successfully given many of our pupils a very effective instrumental foundation and a large number have gone into their high schools joining bands, ensembles and orchestras.
Darren is very personable and the children he works with respond extremely well to his sessions. He manages to reach the right balance between fun and enthusiasm, rigour and challenge. Parents often praise him for the way he communicates with them.
Darren has been part of the school team for such a long time and sometimes we take him for granted..... but that just perhaps illustrates how easy he is to have around. He's fantastic and would be difficult to replace."

His friendly caring manner and extensive knowledge of music, including writing arrangements for the band, make his lessons informative, exciting and safe enabling children as young as seven years old to grow in confidence and knowledge."
